The Rambouillet breed enjoys a long staple length giving the wool plenty of strength and durability. With a micron count of 20, it has the softness of a fine wool for next to skin comfort, and fabulous bounce.
This wool can blend with other luxury fibers to add elasticity without compromising softness. The fleece is prized for being dense with square, matte fibers, and a defined crimp.
This is a brilliant wool for spinning and can be knit or crocheted into luxuriously soft garments. Rambouillet also takes dye beautifully and wet and needle felts with ease. Our Rambouillet is from flocks within the USA and processed domestically to ensure the highest standards of care.
